Started with a simple idea
LingoNest was founded in 2021 by Evelyn Dufour with a clear focus on small-group language courses. The aim was to create a setting where learners could ask questions, practise often, and move forward with confidence.
Small-group language courses designed for steady progress, clear structure, and real speaking practice.
LingoNest offers language courses and tutoring for adult beginners, continuing learners, and community groups who want focused instruction in a small setting. Our courses combine guided practice, level screening, and a clear lesson path so each group can work at the right pace.
We teach in Lorette and online, with booking options that make it easy to enquire, confirm your level, and match with a suitable timetable. Whether you are starting from the basics or building on existing skills, we keep the learning process practical and approachable.

From the beginning, the goal has been to make language learning more personal, more structured, and easier to follow.

Our approach is shaped by the needs of real learners. We begin with level screening, match groups and timetables carefully, and use guided peer practice so everyone has room to take part.
Feedback from participants has highlighted specific grammar, vocabulary, and speaking points, as well as inclusive group practice that keeps quieter learners involved. That kind of structure helps make each lesson more useful from the first session onward.
Our teaching model is built around structure, participation, and realistic expectations about progress.
Small-group teaching keeps lessons active and gives each learner more chances to speak, listen, and practise with support.
Initial level screening helps us place learners more accurately and set a course direction that matches their starting point.
Guided peer practice adds structure to conversation time, so learners can build confidence without feeling left behind.
We offer classroom study in Lorette and online lessons, giving learners flexible ways to join a course that fits their schedule.
